Loaves & Fish

Some trust in chariots
and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the
LORD our God

Beautiful Things

You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of dust
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of us

..Jesus said to Philip
"Where are we to buy bread for these people to eat?"
He said this to test him, for He himself knew what He was going to do.
Philip answered, "Six months wages would not buy enough bread
for each of them to get a little"
One of the disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother said to Him;
"There is a boy here, who has five barley loaves and two fish,
but, what are they among so many people?"
Jesus said " Make the people sit down"
Now there was a great deal of grass in the place;
So they sat down, about five thousand.
Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks, He distributed them
to those who were seated;
So also the fish, as much as they wanted.
When they were satisfied, He told His disciples,
"Gather up the fragments left over, so that nothing may be lost."
So they gathered them up, and from the fragments of the five
barley loaves, left by those who had eaten, they filled twelve baskets.

Bestow

Moved with compassion,
Jesus touched their eyes;
and immediately they received their sight
and followed Him.

Surrender

Touch the Sky
Hillsong  United

`I found my life, when I laid it down..
I touch the sky, when my knees hit the ground..

Find me here at Your feet again..
everything I am;
reaching out I surrender
Come sweep me up in Your love again
and my soul will dance
on the wings of forever`

Dwelling Place
Nicole Nordeman

In You I trust
In You alone - my dwelling place will be..

**

Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Where can I flee from Your presence?
If I go up to the heavens... if I make my bed in the depths,
You are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there Your hand will guide me,
Your right hand will hold me fast.

The Hiding Place - Corrie Ten Boom
The Invasion p.67

She was making tea, she brought it into the dining room
where we had covered the windows with heavy black paper and set out the best cups.
Somewhere in the night there was an explosion,
the dishes in the cupboard rattled.
For an hour we sipped our tea and talked,
until the sound of planes died away and the sky was silent.
 I said goodnight to Betsie...
and groped my way up the dark stairs ..
The fiery light was gone from the sky.
I felt for my bed; there was my pillow.
Then in the darkness my hand closed over something hard. Sharp too.
I felt blood trickle along a finger.
It was a piece of metal, ten inches long.
"Betsie!"
I raced down the stairs with the shrapnel shard in my hand.
We went back to the dining room and stared at it in the light,
while Betsie bandaged my hand; "On your pillow," she kept saying.
"Betsie, if I hadn't heard you in the kitchen-"
But Betsie put a finger on my mouth;
"Don't say it, Corrie!
There are no if's in Gods world.
And no places that are safer than other places.
The centre of His will is our only safety -
O Corrie, let us pray that we may always know it!"

Listen

I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light
so that you can understand the confident hope He has given
to those He called - His holy people
 who are His rich
and glorious inheritance.

I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say
Horatius Bonar

I heard the voice of Jesus say,
"Behold, I freely give
The living water, thirsty one,
Stoop down and drink
and live."
I came to Jesus, and I drank
of that life-giving stream;
My thirst was quenched,
my soul revived,
And now I live in Him.

So, let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God.
There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us
when we need it most.

Fruit

The Maker
Chris August

I see You in the sunrise
I see You in the rain
I see You in the laughter
I feel You through the pain

Everything that You have made is beautiful
Oh, My God, I can't believe my eyes
But in all of this,
to think that You would think of me
Makes my heart come alive!!

you are the branches.
Those who remain in Me, and I in them,
will produce much fruit.
For apart from Me you can do nothing.`

Receive

*

There was a man there named Zacchaeus... (vs.2)
He tried to get a look at Jesus, but he was too short to see over the crowd.
So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree beside the road,
for Jesus was going to pass that way.
When Jesus came by, He looked up at Zacchaeus and called him by name.
"Zacchaeus, come down! I must be a guest in your home today."
Zacchaeus quickly came down and took Jesus to his house,
in great excitement and joy.
But the people were displeased
"He has gone to be the guest of a notorious sinner" they grumbled (vs.3-7)
..Jesus responded `..The son of man came to seek and save those who are lost` (vs.10)

Need to Breathe
(More Heart,Less Attack)

..I stuck my hat out
I caught the rain drops
I drank the water
I felt my veins n'block
I'm near the sanctified,  I'm near the broken
I'm down the river,  I'm near the open
..I'm down the river
to where I'm going..
