Legacy

Yesterday morning, as I took the photo of this amazing moon at sunrise,

my neighbour was getting into his car, to go to work. 

After marvelling at the moon,

he said to me `wow, you must have a really good lens on that camera?'

and I said `Nope, but how can I not take a photo? - we are so blessed!'

.. as unequipped as I might be, I can not help, but speak of His goodness..

`For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.(v.13)

But how are they to call on one whom they have not believed? 

And how are they to believe in one, whom they have never heard?

and how are they to hear without someone to proclaim Him?(v.14)

And how are they to proclaim Him unless they are sent?

..So faith comes from what is heard, 

and what is heard comes from the word of Christ.(v.17)

Legacy

..I want to leave a legacy

How will they remember me?

Did I choose to love?

Did I point to You enough to make a mark on things?

I want to leave an offering -

A child of mercy and grace

who blessed Your name - unapologetically

& Leave that kind of legacy

Not "well travelled or well read"

not  "well-to-do or well bred"

I just want to hear, instead,

"Well done! 

Good and Faithful one"
